Get Red

This publication is a red thread I’m braiding between divination, indigeneity, and decoloniality. This is where I will work through knots, kinks and gnosis. I want to touch textures, stretch out my writing style, and explore the sensorium of the oracle through an epistolatory-esque essay hybrid. I want to rub my little words together and spark something in you by sharing the way my life is written and read and led by a divinatory practice. These words are earnest and they are fragile, but forceful. As I expand this publication, I intend to interview, elaborate, and exchange with some of my favorite writers, diviners, and poets who have a steady reading practice, exploring all the ways to read; the cards, the stars, the image, the page, the frame.

This digital publication will go on to become a print publication that covers the correspondences between the aesthetic and the arcane in various media, mediums and modes all between the bounds of life, tarot, art, divinity, and culture toward a fuller relationality.
